Exhibition accompanying the launch of the first issue of In Between Knots.
In Between Knots. Issue 1 brings together a diverse range of voices and forms — poetry, prose, photography, and more — to explore the fluid, multifaceted concept of home.
Rather than attempting to define home, this anthology invites readers on a journey through themes of cultural identity and migration, intimacy and estrangement, nostalgia and resilience, and the ongoing search for belonging. Contributors find home in cultural rituals and traditions, in the liminal spaces between the familiar and the foreign, in personal relationships, and within themselves.
The launch featured readings by some of the contributors, along with a multimedia installation by Joanna Penso and Maliha Haider, textile works by Caroline Ip, and an audiovisual piece by Serafima Bresler.
